About Me
I film high resolution raw nature and wildlife content. I have my own Red V-Raptor 8K camera, and Land Cruiser, so I am able to film anywhere in Southern Africa at very competitive rates. As an example, for around $900 per day I can provide myself, my assistant, my 4x4 vehicle and all my equipment. Including all accommodation (assuming camping is available), fuel, logistics/booking, travel insurance, footage logging/sorting and courier/upload costs (excluding park fees, filming permits and guides, if required).

I also travel regularly to film in Southern Africa and further afield. On these trips, I am happy to schedule additional filming, or just look out for a particular shot for potential clients. If you would like to be kept updated on future expeditions, let me know.
Background
I studied Fine Arts (BA) at the University of Cape Town and Zoology and Mathematics (non-degree purposes) at UNISA. I worked in music and corporate video production in Cape Town before moving to Hermanus, South Africa. I have travelled extensively in Southern Africa and for the past 8 years  I have been filming 4K+ wildlife for my stock library and international clients.

I have filmed in KwaZulu-Natal, Kruger National Park and Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in South Africa; Mana Pools, Hwange and Zambezi National Parks in Zimbabwe; Etosha National Park in Namibia; Masai Mara National Park in Kenya; Chobe, Savuti, Makgadikgadi Pans, Nxai, Khwai, and Moremi in Botswana; and Masoala, Andasibe-Mantadia and Ranomafana National Parks in Madagascar.

I hold a South African CAA Remote Pilot License.
Guarantee
For most shoots, I am willing to guarantee my work - if, after the shoot, you are not completely happy with the content or quality of the footage, you will only pay my hard costs (and I will retain the rights to the footage).
Stock Footage
I have a library of over 10000 clips of African nature and wildlife stock footage, including over 300 species of African birds, mammals and reptiles.

Most of my footage is shot in 6K 50fps slow motion in R3D raw, and is available in 6K raw, 4K Prores or HD. More recently I have been shooting Red DSMC3 8K 60p and Blackmagic Raw 12K content. If you are looking for footage of a specific location or species, feel free to drop me an email.
